MEET A NEED TODAY!

Luke 4:18-19 The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because He has anointed Me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to release the oppressed, to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor. NIV

Jesus’ mission statement in Luke 4:18-19 was all about meeting needs: the need for the poor to hear a word of encouragement, the need of the bound to experience freedom, the need for those blinded to have fresh vision, release to those bowed down with oppression, and favor to the disenfranchised. Jesus was a “need-meeter”! The entire business world is built upon meeting needs with a product that improves people’s lives. Yet God has given believers the most valuable product in the world - His Son, Jesus. He has given us the most precious message: that God loves, forgives, heals and saves! With this message, and the gift and unique experiences God has given you, you can meet a need today that will change someone’s life! Matthew 10:7-8 Go and announce to them that the Kingdom of Heaven is near. Heal the sick, raise the dead, cure those with leprosy, and cast out demons. Give as freely as you have received! NLT
