WHAT IS SALT & LIGHT?
Grace to the Nations operates a Food Pantry to address basic emergency needs for food supplies. Most of those receiving support are not homeless but are trying to stretch very limited resources.
The Salt & Light Food Pantry Ministry at Grace to the Nations provides services and information resources to assist you in getting your life together during difficult times.
WE ARE LOOKING FOR BENEFACTORS?
The Salt & Light Food Pantry Ministry is requesting your help as members of this congregation to help us keep our food pantry stocked and ready to bless individuals and families in need throughout the year.
You can do this by signing up as a “Benefactor” who is willing to receive regular emails on targeted or seasonal needs as well as weekly “alerts” to available specials at local supermarkets.
If you sign up, a list of regular needs will be sent to you that you can pick from at any time, as well as you receiving the weekly emails. It doesn’t mean that you must respond to every need or alert we send out, just that you are willing to be “alerted” and will respond as is possible. The more of us that sign up, the bigger our resource base - even having only 100 people bring one item per week would make a huge difference and your donation will provide meals not only for individuals but entire families.
Please consider being a part of this special outreach, both to our own fellow members as well as those directed to us from outside our congregation.
