BLESSED BOUNDARIES
Psalm 2:1-2 (NIV) Why do the nations conspire and the peoples plot in vain? The kings of the earth rise up and the rulers band together against the Lord and against his anointed, saying ,“Let us break their chains and throw off their shackles.”
Have you ever wondered why there is such hatred and aggressive rejection of Jesus? It seems people are afraid Christ is going to bring boundaries and restrictions upon their lives. They fear not having freedom to follow whatever whim or desire their heart craves.
The Apostle John declared, The commands of God are not burdensome. 1 John 5:3 David exclaimed, The boundary lines have fallen for me in pleasant places; surely I have a delightful inheritance. Psalm 16:6 When we break off the loving bonds of God’s commands, it is as foolish as cutting the brake lines of your car so you can drive without restrictions! We should embrace God’s boundaries and limits. Because when He says “no” to us, it is not to harm us, but to give us guidelines that will direct us toward His abundance!
Psalms 119:35 (NLT) Make me walk along the path of your commands, for that is where my happiness is found.
