THE LAST WORDS ARE YOUR FIRST WORDS
Luke 23:46 “Father, I entrust My Spirit into your Hands!” And with those words, He breathed His last.
Jesus last words on the cross are those which begin your new life in God! With these simple words of surrender, we receive salvation and are born again! But these words were not intended to be uttered only once at the moment of salvation. They are the daily song of the godly, as they commit their way to the Lord. In the Psalms, David, desperate and surrounded by enemies, uttered these same words, and discovered that God had already destined his deliverance! By surrendering himself once again to the Lord, he enabled God to supernaturally work on his behalf.
If you will make Jesus’ powerful last words the first words of your day, you will find that no matter what has happened in your past; no matter the troubles of the present; no matter the fears of the future, you’ve put your life in the very best place!
Psalms 31:5 Into your hands I commit my spirit; deliver me, Lord, my faithful God.
