DAY 5 – REMAIN IN THE VINE

John 15:4-5

Remain in me, as I also remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me. 5 “I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.

OBJECTIVE

Remaining in God is the basis on which finding success in a life with Christ is built (1 Corinthians 3:10). Consequently, being persistent in it, we will achieve an unmovable faith (Hebrews 11: 1) that will make the fruit of the Spirit bloom in us.

Experience

• Remain in God- being guided and refreshed in Him.

• Remain in God- being ministered to by the Holy Spirit who sustains us in living an abundant life,

which is what God designed for us to live.

• May your prayer be marked with wonderful encounters in His presence that meet your spiritual needs. • Learn to rest in our heavenly Father and observe the different ways in which He guides us to remain

in His vine.

Listen to songs, or sing of the treasures of your heart, and worship the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.

Devotional

We were created for intimacy with our heavenly Father. Just as God designed grapes to only grow connected to the vine, we are designed for intimacy with God as the only true source. There is no other source of true life. There is no other process by which we can experience abundant life outside of abiding in Him. Let's reflect for a moment on a vine that bears fruit. The plant had to be cared for with water (Biblical reading), fertilizer (prayer), pruning it so that the root strengthens and the stem thickens (congregate, listen to the Word, personal ministry, Bible studies, conferences,).

The same happens with you and me in relation to our life in Christ. We have the greatest source of life available to us in God. He waits, passively asking us to come and abide in Him so that we can bear the fruit of abundant life. Once the fruit is cut from the vine, it loses its source of life. In order to constantly bear the fruit of God, we must return again and again to our Vine, to receive all that our heavenly Father constantly longs to give us.

The days that we try to make decisions or do things by our own strength, we do not realize that we are invaded by stress and the worries of life. The Holy Spirit longs to fill us with the fruit of His Presence every moment, every day. Galatians 5:22-23 says, "the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, humility and self-control. There is no law that condemns these things."

Prayer Guide

1.- Meditate on the scripture and recognize the need to remain continuously connected to God, who is the true vine. Remain in me, and I will abide in you. Just as no branch can bear fruit by itself, but has to remain on the vine, so neither can you bear fruit if you do not remain in me "John 15

2.- Ask our heavenly Father to make you perceive his presence. To be rooted; believe in his Word that says his presence is real and you can experience it by his grace, "in reality, without faith it is impossible to please God, since anyone who approaches God has to believe that He exists and that He rewards those who seek Him." Hebrews 1

3.- Get close to your God and find life in his presence. Allow the Lord to heal your broken areas (wounds), and your weariness. Allow the Holy Spirit to flood the dry areas (bitterness) with his perfect love, wait on Him and rest in Him. Be slow to speak and to move, while the Holy Spirit affirms the foundations so that you always bear the fruit of His presence in your life. "The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, humility and self-control. There is no law that condemns these things.” Galatians 5: 22-23

DÍA 5 - PERMANECE EN LA VIDA

“Permanezcan en mi, y yo permanecere en ustedes. Asi como ninguna rama puede dar fruto por si misma, sino que tiene que permanecer en la vid, asi tampoco ustedes pueden dar fruto si no permanecen en mi” Juan 15:4

OBJETIVO

Permanecer en Dios es el fundamento (1 Cor. 3:10) sobre el cual todos los demas aspectos de la vida en Cristo encuentran el exito. Por consiguiente de ser perseverantes en ello; lograremos arraizarnos en la fe inmovible (Hebreos 11:1) La cual como resultado hara florecer en nosotros el fruto del Espiritu.

Experimenta

Permanecer en Dios siendo guidados a un refrigerio y un avivamiento constantes,

Permanecer en Dios siendo suministrados por el Espiritu Santo y sosteniendonos en la vida abundante que DIos a disenado para nosotros.

Que en tu oracion sea marcada con encuentros maravillosos en Su presencia que satisfagan tus necesidades espirituales.

Aprender a descansar en nuestro Padre celestial y observar las diferentes maneras en que nos guia para permanecer en la vid verdadera de El.

Adora

Escucha cantos, o canta de los tesoros de tu corazon y adora al Padre, al Hijo y al Espiritu Santo.

Devocional

Fuimos creados para la intimidad con nuestro Padre celestial. Asi como Dios diseno las uvas para que solo crezcan conectadas con la vid, nosotros estamos disenados para la intimidad con Dios como unica y verdadera fuente. No hay otra fuente de vida verdadera. No hay otro proceso por el cual podamos experimentar una vida abundante fuera de permanecer en El.

Reflexionemos por un momento sobre una vid que da fruto. Se tuvo que cuidar la planta con riego (lectura Biblica) abono (oracion) estar podandola para que la raiz se fortalezca y el tallo engruese (congregarnos, escuchar la Palabra, ministracion personal, estudios Biblicos, conferencias,) Se necesito pasiencia, tiempo y una nutricion constante para que la fruta se forme en las ramas de la vid.

Asi es contigo y conmigo en relacion a nuestra vida en Cristo. Tenemos la fuente de vida mas abundante disponible para nosotros en Dios. El espera, pidiendonos pascientemente que vengamos y permanezcamos en El para que podamos llevar el fruto de vida abundante. Una vez que la fruta se corta de la vid, pierde su fuente de vida. Para poder producir constantemente el fruto de Dios, debemos regresar una y otra vez a nuestra vid, para recibir todo lo que nuestro Padre celestial anhela costantemente darnos.

Los dias que por nuestras propias fuerzas tratamos de hacer desiciones o hacer las cosas, no nos damos cuenta que somos invadidos por el estres y las preocupaciones de la vida. El Espiritu Santo anhela llenarnos del fruto de Su Presencia cada momento, cada dia. Galatas 5:22-23 dice En cambio, el fruto del Espiritu es amor, alegria, paz, paciencia, amabilidad, bondad, fidelidad, “ humildad y dominio propio. No hay ley que condene estas cosas”

Guia de Oración

1.- Medita en la escritura y reconoce la necesidad de permanecer continuamente conectado a Dios, quien es tu verdadera vid.

2.- Pide a nuestro Padre celestial que te haga percibir su presencia. Para estar arraigado; cree en su Palabra que dice que su presencia es real y puedes experimentrla por su gracia

“En realidad, sin fe es imposible agradar a Dios, ya que caulquiera que se acerca a Dios tiene que creer que El existe y que recompensa a quienes lo buscan” Hebreos 1

3.- Acercate a tu Dios y encuentra vida en su presencia. Pemitele al Senor que su cercania cure tus areas rotas (heridas), y cansadas de tu vida. Permitele al Espiritu Santo que inunde las areas secas (amargura) con su amor perfecto. espera en El y descansa en El. Se lento para hablar y para moverte, mientras el Espiritu Santo afirme las bases para que siempre lleves el fruto de su presencia en tu vida. “En cambio, el fruto del Espiritu es amor, alegria, paz, paciencia, amabilidad, bondad, fidelidad, “ humildad y dominio propio.
