DAY THREE: AS I REMAIN IN YOU 

 

"Stay in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit by itself, if it does not remain in the vine, so neither can you, if you do not remain in me. 5 I am the vine, you are the branches; He who abides in me, and I in him, this one bears much fruit; for apart from me you can do nothing ”

John 15: 4-5

 

In this teaching of the Lord Jesus Christ, He affirms His love and compassion for us. God knowing everything, advises us to remain in Him so that we can bear, not only fruit, but much fruit!

 

One of the characteristics of a good believer is that the fruit NEEDS TO "be seen"; Many times we believe that living a middle of the road life without disturbing anyone is fine, but Jesus Christ is looking for much fruit in all of us. What a great blessing to be able to offer our fruits to the body of Christ here on earth!

 

Also a sign of maturity and balance in all areas of our lives is to "REMAIN", in fact, you can never receive a piece of fruit from a tree that you are planting and pulling up to re-plant it constantly ... that tree It can never grow, mature or bear healthy leaves, much less a rich fruit, God wants us to remain in His word even if we do not see results at the moment. Verse 5 ends with excellent news for you and me: It says that "whoever remains in me, I will remain in him." I don't know about you, but for me that's all I need to start and finish 2022 successfully and much fruit.

 

Let us pray: Father, thank you for leaving us this beautiful promise in John 15, you advise us to stay in you and that guarantees us that you will remain in us so that we bear much fruit. At this beginning of the year, we make the decision to root ourselves more and more in the ground of your Word to continue being enriched and thus continue to mature; Thank you very much in the Name of Jesus, amen!

DÍA TRES: YO PERMANEZCO EN VOSOTROS

 

“Permaneced en mí, y yo en vosotros. Como el pámpano no puede llevar fruto por sí mismo, si no permanece en la vid, así tampoco vosotros, si no permanecéis en mí. 5 Yo soy la vid, vosotros los pámpanos; el que permanece en mí, y yo en él, este lleva mucho fruto; porque separados de mí nada podéis hacer” Juan 15:4-5

 

En esta enseñanza del Señor Jesucristo, nos afirma el amor y compasión de Él para con nosotros. Dios sabiéndolo todo, nos aconseja que permanezcamos en Él para que podamos llevar, no solo fruto, sino mucho fruto!

 

Una de las características de un buen creyente, es que “se le mire” el fruto; muchas veces creemos que llevar una vida mediana y sin molestar a nadie está bien, pero Jesucristo anda buscando mucho fruto en todos nosotros. Qué gran bendición poder ofrecer nuestros frutos al cuerpo de Cristo aquí en la tierra!

 

También una muestra de madurez y balance en todas las areas de nuestras vidas es “la permanencia”, de echo, tú nunca podrás recibir ni siquiera un poco de fruto de un árbol que lo estés sembrando y arrancando para volverlo a sembrar constantemente… ese árbol nunca podrá crecer, madurar ni llevar hojas saludables, mucho menos un fruto rico, Dios quiere que permanezcamos en Su palabra aunque no veamos resultados de momento.

 

El verso 5 termina con una excelente noticia para ti y para mí: Dice que “el que permanece en mi, yo permaneceré en él” Yo no sé usted, pero para mí eso es todo lo que necesito para comenzar y terminar este 2022 con éxito y mucho fruto.

 

Oremos: Padre, gracias por dejarnos esta hermosa promesa en Juan 15, nos aconsejas que nos mantengamos en ti y eso nos garantiza que tú permanecerás en nosotros para que llevemos mucho fruto. En este principio de año, hacemos la decisión de arraigarnos cada día más en el terreno de tu Palabra para seguir siendo enriquecidos y así seguir madurando; muchas gracias en el Nombre de Jesus, amen!
