Daniel 6:10 Daniel….knelt down as usual in his upstairs room….He prayed three times a day, just as he had always done, giving thanks to his God.
Daniel had a Godly Habit. It wasn’t always convenient, it definitely wasn’t supported, and it wasn’t ever easy. But Daniel determined to remain consistent in his Godly habit of prayer. He understood this habit would produce powerful results… and it did. Daniel rose to be the main confidant and advisor of two kings.
Every great man or woman of God has developed daily disciplines that serve to keep them focused upon God’s purposes in their lives. Godly habits serve as “road-markers” and boundary lines that keep us moving forward toward goals. Without these “holy habits” we will tend to get distracted and detour.
What has God called you to be? He has called you to be…..Wise, Anointed, Prosperous, Healthy, Blessed. What habits in your life are detours from that call? Which habits will help you realize your call and purpose? Begin to discipline your daily life until that discipline becomes a habit and the habit produces victory.
