Care for children 0-5 years old.

TINY TOTS

In GT3, children are taught creative, age-appropriate curriculum. This means that Bible lessons are both developmentally and spiritually appropriate for your child, as well as fun. Children learn that Jesus loves them and wants to be their best friend, as well as how to live a life devoted to Jesus. Specifically, volunteers working with infants through age five begin building a child's spiritual foundation.

Starting with the infant/toddler rooms, Christ's love for children is demonstrated by providing a safe and clean environment in which the children can sing and play.

What to bring:  When packing a diaper bag for your child, please include the following items:

1.      Two or three disposable diapers and wipes

2.      pacifier or other item, should your child need it for security

3.      A complete change of clothes in case your child would require that

4.      A bottle of milk, formula, juice or water.

Please label all personal items with your child’s first and last name before arriving at your child’s class. This helps us keep track of your child’s items.

Two- and three-year-olds begin learning Bible stories, as well as the concepts of friendship and helping by observing the actions of their leader. Regular learning experiences are planned and lessons are reinforced with songs, play and supervised activities designed with the ability of the children in mind.

Four- and five-year-olds children will learn a Bible story and a memory verse that emphasizes the theme and focus of the lesson.  They will be encouraged to participate in a group discussion that will help them learn how to apply biblical truths to their lives.   Children worship together, play games and make and arts and crafts that reinforce the Bible story that they learned.

Feel free to check on your little one at any time during the worship service.  However, we ask that you do so discreetly, trying not to let your child see you.

You are invited to visit your child's room any weekend to see the careful, creative attention GT3 pays to the age of children. Simply check in at GT3 reception for a tag as a visitor for the day.  We also encourage you to volunteer one time a month to serve in children’s ministry.  There are many opportunities and you can check at our volunteers opportunity segment.
