NATIONAL DAY OF PRAYER

The 59th Annual National Day of Prayer will take place Thursday, May 6, 2010. Millions will unite in prayer at thousands of events from coast to coast. The theme for this coming year is "Prayer for Such a Time as This" and is based on the verse from Nahum 1:7 which states: "The LORD is good, a refuge in times of trouble. He cares for those who trust in Him."
This year in Pima County , multiple events will be held in various locations throughout the county, hosted by different churches - but open to the public, as opportunities to gather for prayer on Thursday, May 6, 2010.
In addition, there will be a National Day of Prayer Youth Rally on Friday, May 7, 2010, from 6-8:30 pm in the Reid Park Bandshell - featuring live music, bilingual worship (Spanish/English), and food! All ages are welcome to this event, but the focus will be on the youth of the community.
